Look for vestibular neuritis and vestibular migraines
Chances are that the nurse practitioners don't know much about the MTHFR gene defect.
Well if I told you that all your conditions (including bipolar) and symptoms could be explained by this little gene defect, this would be a big deal, right?
And that's why you would benefit from ruling this out!
This MTHFR gene has to do with methylation processes-a bit too technical to get into right now in detail, but basically the result is that when you have a mutation of the MTHFR gene, the corresponding MTHFR enzyme works at a much lower rate and of the many issues that result from this, many are pertinent to you, in relation to your conditions.
If left untreated, serious diseases like MS or cancer can develop.
There are many possible mutations but you need to be tested mainly for
677 and 1298.
There has been considerable research that shows one or more MTHFR mutations may play a role in cancer, stroke, heart problems, congenital defects, depression, IBS , miscarriages, migraines, chemical sensitivities, schizophrenia-like syndromes, bipolar disorder, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and more.
Alternatively, you may consider a trial of SAMe OR Methylocobalamin and
5-Methyltetrahydrofolate together, to correct the deficiency caused by the
suspected MTHFR mutation and consequently restore Methylation .
At first it may sound complicated but if you need some further details and
explanation, let me know.
