chronic cough and nausea

I've had a chronic bronchitis for several years and lately have had mild to severe nausea. Have not vomited but came very close.  The bronchitis I can live with, but this recent bout of nausea is making me nervous. I think there is a correlation since my cough brings on fits of gagging.  However the nausea I'm speaking of comes in out of the blue with no coughing.  Any ideas?

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Nausea can be the symptom of many things. The commonest cause being GERD and acidity. This is also possible with medications. Constipation, gall bladder problems, IBS etc can all cause nausea.
Please discuss this with your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Nausea can be a symptom of so many things.  Have you had regular chest x-rays of your lungs?
