chronic pain and extrapyramidal disorder

I was just diagnosed with chronic back pain due to
bone spurs on my spine from osteoporosis.I also
suffer from severe restless leg syndrome. I have
been given a wide variety of meds including anti-
depressants,non-narcotic pain pills,and even anti-
psycotic agents. None have helped, and the anti-
psychotic produced facial twitching,involuntary
jerking in extremities and a feeling of restlessness.
Anyone with these symptoms, please help!

I've had a herniated, bulging disc and pinched nerve down my left leg for 5 months, so I can relate a little bit. I also had restless leg syndrome for a few nights and hated it.... had chiropractry and some stretching exercises for quite a while, but it didn't really help much.

I don't know the answers to your problems, but I do feel for you. When you get to a point where you can exercise, it's extremely important to build up muscle tone. I worked at CURVES for Women for 3 years and know that to be true. It helps work against osteoporosis and can even reverse it.

See a Rhuematoligist doctor to get checked for fibromyalgia. Tell the doc all your newest symptoms whether you think they are related or not, everything you can tell the doc is important, write a journel while you wait to be seen.  I take Mirapex for Periodic limb movements at bedtime-also I take clorazepan(SP?) for restless leg syndrome. What you have usually is connected to Fibromyalgia. I have it all.Good luck
