cranial neuropathy? Left-sided skull pain...

Does anyone know what could cause this feeling of a pain on the left side of my skull, in the area like 1 1/2" above the top of my ear and behind my ear on the bony parts? Thru the years I would have a 'hair pulling sensation' like a dull ache behind my ear on that part of my skull and it would come and go thru the years but I dismissed it as posture or wearing earbuds at work each day. Now, after a lymph node biopsy (negative) this is gone but now it seems like my skull feels bruised when I touch it lightly. It hurts to shampoo or even run a brush thru my long hair! Sometimes it's not noticeable but other days when I lean my head, I can feel as if it's an ache in the bony area or even hair follicles. Strange... I had a CT scan including skull base, but not entire head. No significant abnormalities found. What are your thoughts?
