itchy anas young women
daughter 17, has itchy anas at times, quite painful. seems to be mostly pre period or after period. much discomfort and she looks quite pale as in pain. please suggest foods to help bowell movements as there is constipation usually preceding the symptoms. would you suggest cold paks on bottom to ease discomfort or something else. please help!!!! we are not rich for creams and pills and alike thankyou.
Listen to the doc! great advise! If pills and creams are to expensive for you, I highly recommend Activia yogurt!!!! I thought it was just BS but i tried it when i was having similar problems. I saw my doctor and he said that i was a little backed up >_< And im not getting paid for recommending it either lol.... Its great.
Get your daughter the vanilla flavored Activia yogurt and make a parfait loaded with fruits that usually would said you to the bathroom and also granola that is rich with fiber. Trust me when i say this should help! It worked great for me. Plus... It makes for a really healthy and delicious treat.

Worms are the commonest cause of anal itch. Itchy anus can also be due to undigested food like citrus fruits, grapes, certain spices, tomatoes, certain medicines like antibiotics and laxatives and certain drinks like beer, milk, tea, or coffee. Anal fissures, hemorrhoids, threadworms can all cause anal itch. Itch can also be due to irritants like synthetic fiber, toiletries or fungal infection. Genital warts and sores of herpes should also be ruled out if she is sexually active.
Hence for correct treatment it is important to get correct diagnosis. Let her have plenty of fluids and fiber rich diet. Please consult a doctor.
