looking for answers or suggestions.

about a month and a half ago, I noticed a small bump on my face that was grayish colored and had two "holes". Didn't think much of it, as my skin breaks out somewhat often. A couple of days later I started bleeding as if I was on my period but had just had it two weeks earlier. My abdomen started hurting very bad, I was having difficulty breathing, and I was extremely fatigued, where I could barely move. I woke up the next day and my face was swollen around the area of the bump. I went to a doctor and they gave me antibiotics and didn't tell me much of anything. Several days later and still not going to work, I went to another doctor to see if I could get a better understanding or diagnosis. The swelling on my face had went down, but my stomach was still in a lot of pain, and the bleeding was slowing down but was now accompanied by discharge. This doctor tested my urine and blood, and nothing came back, except a yeast infection from the antibiotics and traceable blood in the urine. The doctor also did a pelvic exam and said I may have pelvic inflammatory disease, because my pelvic area was very swollen. The doctor prescribed me different antibiotics as well as a pill for the yeast infection ( and a second pill in case the first one didn't help). So I took the antibiotics and the pill, still didn't feel much can better.  The yeast infection didn't go away so I took the second pill, and still no luck. The next week I went back to work but still very tired and abdominal pain. They pain slowly decreased and now, a month and a half later and another week off work from the flu (from when this all started) I still have vaginal discharge of some sort that seems to happen most before, during , or after bowel movement. I am extremely confused, and unsure about going back to the doctor because I really haven't figured out what any of this is or prescribed any medication that seemed to help. I asked the doctors if the bump and swelling on my face had anything to do with my abdominal pain, although they both didn't address the matter at all. I thought maybe it could have been from a spider bit because we have some pretty bad ones at my house often. I am just looking to see if anyone has any ideas of what is going on with me, or the next steps I should take. I didn't have health insurance  at the time because I had started a new job,  and now I do so I am willing to go to another doctor. Thanks for reading my lengthy explanation!

I forgot to add that I am feeling slightly more energized during the day lately, although my stomach is not feeling any better. I have been having Irregular bowel movements, stomach discomfort, and loss of appetite (although I crave snacks). I drink at least one cup of coffee every morning, and am trying to cut down on that also.

Hi niko,

Again thank you so much for your response. Adrenal imbalance sounds very likely when reading about it. Almost describes me to a T. And yes the swelling has gone down, it lasted about a week. I have been tested for defecencies, about 2 years ago though. I wanted to test my thyroid because I was feeling very anxious all the time, and was getting panic attacks ( which I didn't think was even possible). I still do but have gotten a little more used to it, I guess. My tests showed that I have low sodium? Which I was a little confused about. When I was 12 years old I had a bleeding ulcer and was flown to the hospital from losing so much blood,. I have always had stress even when I wasn't necessarily stressed out. I also have picked my skin since I was about 10. I looked this up and it is sometimes called 'dermatillomania' . I haven't started the coconut oil, although have been watching my diet. I am definitely going to start the coconut oil asap.

Thank you for your time and knowledge,
Kelly

Hey Kelly, I took a look at your photos and my first thought was a hormonal play, perhaps adrenal or thyroid imbalance, which makes sense, should you have been very stressed.
Has the swelling subsided since then and how're feeling now?
Have you started the coconut oil yet?
And BTW have you ever been tested for any deficiencies, thyroid or adrenal issues?

Unfortunately, the chinese medicine face chart can be helpful only if the
person can identify the facial signs easily, so I'll leave this up to you to do,
since it is indeterminable from the photos you posted.

You just need to download a chart of your liking and match the facial signs
(symptoms) with the corresponding internal body organ/system.

Keep me posted.

Best wishes.

Niko,

I added some pictures of my face swollen and one of my face normal (although it isn't a very clear photo).

Thanks!

No, you need to ingest 4-5 T daily, but must start with 1-2 the first week and increase to 2 for week 2-3 until your reach 4-5T in week 4 or 5.
The gradual increase, ensures that you do not get serious die-off symptoms. These fungal organisms play can be nasty.
Systemic in medicine refers to conditions affecting the entire body or multiple body systems & organs and usually present a multitude of symptoms.

Such a condition (suspected) left untreated may lead to intestinal permeability (leaky gut syndrome)  and other unwanted serious consequences.

There's a self test you can try (not diagnostic, just indicative) FYI; search under "Saliva test for Candida".

Cheers.

Thanks so much for your response. I will post a photo of when my face was swollen when I get to my computer. I have recently been oil pulling (coconut)  do you know if this is enough to use as an anti fungal?
I haven't heard of systemic candida yeast infection. I will def be doing some research

Hi Kelly and sorry about your health situation

You must rule out  systemic candida yeast infection.
It can  affect any part of the body including genitals, face,
digestion-- A comprehensive long-term approach incorporating an anti-candida diet, stress reduction, anti-fungals(coconut oil is the best natural anti-fungal, works oral & topical),  probiotics etc.
Sometimes conventional doctors and tests miss it or just prescribe antibiotics, which paradoxically also contribute to candida!

You may also search for a chinese medicine face chart (Mien Shiang)
to make the link to internal body issues, in relation to your facial symptoms.

If you could post a photo, I could have a look at it and give you an opinion.

Please note that my suggestions are not intended as a replacement for medical advice.

Best wishes.
Niko
