Help! Here are my symptoms they started about 6 months ago insides feel like im on fire but cold all the time, burning red spots appear suddenly and when gone bruises are left behind, left side upper body numbness, pain around left eye, thumb joints hurt, left bottom heel pain,MRI showed white matter on brain but neurologist said its not ms cause white spots were in the wrong part of the brain?bloodwork first came back positive for Lyme disease, second test was negative, rheumatoid factor test negative, severe mood swing by mid afternoon along with fatigue. Waiting for spinal tap test. What else could this be? Should I seek another opinion?

I have been in a similar situation...I have had dizziness, stuttering, difficulty making decisions at times (was at a red light and could not remember if red meant go or stop) as well as nerve pain, balance issues, and difficulty walking as well as muscles "twitches" among other symptoms...I have been to so many docs and the er and one states one thing and then another states something else...I am still trying to get an answer (have had MRI, cat scans, xrays, nuclear bone study, blood work, etc...) ...I agree, I would take copies of all your tests and seek a second opinion....while it is obvious that there is something going on in your brain, how is your liver?...good luck

Lol, I had to read that ( more than once) to understand. We, as helpers are out of our league.  Meaning it will take more than just us relating to you in some vague way. It was my feeble way of sayings I think you have a serious issue going on. If you read that again it doesn't say that you are "out or your league", it says "I think YOU are out of OUR league"   I really hope this make things clearer. My sense of humor is sometimes hate to catch.

Wow I think you are out of our league.  At least you have the means to have a doctor. Do not take that for granite.

I have Ms and some of the symptoms that you list I have had.   The white spots could be MS Leisons.  The spinal tap will be conclusive..I had one myself.  I have had MS since I was 28, I am now 57.  I am still mobile, but I take a lot of medication.  I would get a 2nd opinion....it can't hurt.

Good luck,
