multiple chemical sensitivity with seizures

I'm curious if anyone else has hd similar symptoms as me. For the last few months I have been having. These uncontrollable shaking episodes due to overexpossure of chemicals. I have gone to my doctors, endo, neurologist, pcp, etc, and the tests have come bacck completely normal. I have a friend who also has MCS, multiple chemical sensitivities, and she has seizures because of it.  My friends and family have said that my epiisodes are just like hers.  I get a horrible headache in the back of my neck, I feel like I'm drunk like loopy and spaced out, it shoots up to the top of my head, my throat swells, then I get really bad eletrical currents running through my whole body.  When that starts I don't remember anything afterward. My family says I have uncontrollable jerking/shaking, I gurgle and grunt, then after the "episode" stops, I get the urge to urinate right away, I can't feel my legs for a few minutes.  It scares me and the doctors say that it is anxiety.  I have plenty of anxiety at home and that is the only place I don't have them.  We have gone comepletely fragrace free in our home and are using only natural fragrance free cleaning supplies.  I'm AFFRAID TO GO ANYWHERE BECAUSE I'M AFRAID OF HAVING ANOTHER EPISODE. Can anyone relate?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It need not be multiple chemical sensitivites and you could actually be having seizures. This needs to be ruled out by an EEG. Seizures are of many types and they differ in presentation and area of brain involved. It is also possible that you have Vit B12 deficiency, MS, cervical spinal nerve compression, hypoglycemia, hormonal imbalance and adrenal gland problems. The episodes you describe need a complete and comprehensive investigation by both a neurologist and an endocrine specialist.
Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
