pain behind knee

about 5 months ago i jumped and landed funny on my left leg it felt like something behind(BACK OF LEG NOT IN THE KNEE)the back of my knee popped and i was in agony for about 15mins the pain wore off but i had to limp for about 2weeks as the pain only came when my leg was fully straightened or fully bentand that lasted for about 3 months it finaly went and last week i joined zumba and at my second zumba lesson i came home and my leg started to hurt when i straighten it fully or bend it funny all mmy doctor said is ive pulled a muscle but i think its something mor can anyone please help me

do you think i would be able to carry on doing zumba or will it keep coming back my last lesson was last thursday and im still in pain thanks for your comment

maybe tendon tear.watch for swelling because they can cause a bakers cyst which does not look like a true cyst its just swelling.I have one in my left leg they are quite painful and can reoccur.

i would like to add that my knee has never looked swollen brused and does not hurt to touch please can some help
