Hi all,
3 weeks ago I suddenly had tinnitus in my left ear, didn't bother me at all. A week later, I was having episodes of dizziness and nausea (not vertigo). I was also having some pretty bad frequent headaches and my ear had a fluttering feeling as I was trying to sleep.
I've seen lots of doctors, one ENT and I even checked into the emergency room one time. Only diagnosis I got was possible inner ear infection of some sort.
Currently I do not feel as bad as previously but I still have a lot of odd lingering symptoms:
-still have tinnitus in one ear, and sort of a whooshing sound in the other
-unusually dizzy in mornings.
-occasional brain fog
-pins and needles in hands/feet on occasion (some days worse than others)
-occasional shooting pain in hands and feet
-general fatigue
-some joint weakness/pain in knees and neck
-occasional muscle spasms in back and legs
-occasional dull ache across my teeth
Blood work came back fine, slight vitamin d deficiency though. I saw a lyme disease literate doctor who prescribed me with 6 weeks worth of antibiotics as the symptoms I was having were very suspect.
I'm a 26 year old male and have been pretty healthy up until about 3 weeks ago. I just feel as if I'm at 50% all the time.
Not sure if this is something to do with lyme, chiari, vestibular neuritis or some other thing.
I'm not sure if I'm reaching here but could it possibly be a mercury/tooth problem?? I had a root canal done in 2012, and I do have one metallic looking amalgam in my tooth that's quite large.
For the past several months I've also been getting recurring penile thrush, again not sure if candida illnesses are quackery but I've also considered this.
Can anybody help or provide insight? Thanks.
