Hello,

Pregnancy is one of the causes of delayed periods.Since you had your periods on 22nd jan and intercourse on 3rd feb,so chances of pregnancy are there as 3rd feb is approx the 13th day of your menstrual cycle and ovulation usually occurs on 14th day in case of a regular cycle. It is seen that pregnancy only occurs if intercourse occurs within the 6 days prior to and including ovulation. So chances of pregnancy are high.Pls get home based Urine for pregnancy test(UPT) done.

Other causes of delayed periods are hormonal imbalance, increased stress, eating disorder, increased smoking, alcohol or caffeine use,PCOS,fibroid, polyps and endometriosis.Pls discuss them with your gynecologist if UPT comes negative.

Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.

Hello Sir,

Thanks a ton for the Info....

With reagrds to PCOS, i had under went scanning in my home town under the instruction of our well known gynecologist. Result was normal and even the over growth is normal.

Regarding migrin i consulted a neurologist, who prescribed Vasograin 500 (and as aviod taking it frequently due to its side effect) when the headache is very sever but on regular basis i had to take a tablet called Migrid. I am not much aware of the composition. but knowingly i have avoided many triggers like black chocolates, perfumes and loud music.

I am waiting to hear your thoughts about this.

Get checked by an OB-GYN to make sure you don't have any cause for this. There are diseases, infections and even Poly Cystic Ovaries and hormone things that can give you this kind of trouble. I have PCOS and at one time had no cycle for six months, than a horrible heavy one for over a year that required surgery. That is an extreme, I had endometrial hyperplasia that resolved after a simple procedure. If you do have PCOS there are treatments for it, one of the ones some doctors put patients on is Metformin. Just depends on the doctor. Hope this helps a little.
Also , stress and not eating that well can have a big impact too. On your natural therapy for your migraines have you tried Magnesium supplements by any chance? There is a lot of interesting info out there on it if you just search things like Migraines and magnesium or headaches and magnesium. Hope you feel better soon. And no matter how rough things get, if they ever get so bad, get help. You are worth a lot more than you ever could think. God bless
