too much sensitivity to cold

Please if someone can advise me. For past few months I started feeling extremely cold. In extreme summer I wear sweater. In extreme summer when A/C is on I use one thick comforter and on top of that sometimes I have to use blanket. I also have low grade fever for few hours everyday. My whole body remains warm and have chilly feeling all the time. I already have visited few Doctors and have wasted lot of money on that. My thyroid is normal, done thyroid test more than two times, my blood test is normal, culture for blood test and urine test came normal. Now I don't know which specialist should I go to ? I already have visited Endocrinologist, all test came normal. For last 7 years I was smoking, which I felt has weakened my lungs. Can it be related with my lungs ?  I already quit smoking, its been a month.
I eat healthy, and I don't have any other symptoms.
Could someone suggest me which Doctor I should visit?
Everyday I am suffering physically and mentally ? Please help ?

How are you? Is this seasonal or it happens through out the year?  Do you have history of allergies? Cold sensitivity is feeling cold or sensitivity to the cold. There are many reasons attributed to this. It is good that your thyroid is ok from your tests. Also with your blood and urine tests. This rules out anemia and thyroid disorders.

This could also be due to normal genetic variation or normal aging.  Do you feel pallor and cyanosis of the fingers or toes precipitated by cold or emotional stress? Raynaud's phenomenon is a disorder of the small blood vessels of the extremities, causing coldness and reduced blood flow. In response to cold or anxiety, these vessels go into spasms, causing pain, the sensations of burning and tingling, and color changes. This is usually attributed to smoking.

I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.

I would recommend you have your blood pressure checked and also get a test for diabetes as this is a major sign of diabetes.  I bet it is your blood pressure though as I was going through the same thing and it's b/c I have low blood pressure.

Could this be a blood pressure issue? I once had a friend who had extremely low blood pressure, for which there is medication available, who would experience the symptoms you described. Hope you work this one out!
