two different questions

I have two problems I think are unrelated could actually be related anyways...
I am assuming weeks ago I had a misscarriage (bleed through 2 lady things an hour with tons of black blood clots and a few half dollar sized blood clots), anyways I'm still spotting and that's been 3 1/2 weeks, the hospital only told me I had consitpation and my pregnancy test they gave me there (urine only) was negative. Anyways should I still be spotting and what on earth is wrong with me? The second problem is about the constipation thing, I go almost a week without pooping and when I do there's hardly anything or it's dierreah type poop (that started when I think I got pregnant) and hasn't stopped. Is there actually something wrong with me any help would be nice.

firstly i can say go to a doctor cause i am not one but the other thing is with the bleeding i bled for 6 weeks before i found out i had a ovarian cyst that burst. Then i only found this out because i had so much pain i could handle it. I had the heavy bleeding and clotting that your talking about. And as far as constipation the diahrea like poop is the poop from behind the constipated poo if you understand what i mean so you probably have an impaction you can give yourself an enema and start eating green leafy vegetables after doing this or take the powder fiber everyday to keep it regular.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A prolonged bleeding of any kind from the vagina can be due to a sore or ulcer in vagina as you see in Herpes or otherwise, endometritis or infection of endometrium of uterus, cervicitis or infection of cervix, fibroids, vaginal infections, vaginal polyp, endometriosis and cancer of either cervix, uterus or ovary. It can also be due to a hormonal contraceptive of any kind or due to hormonal imbalance due to withdrawing it. Sometimes PCOS also presents with prolonged vaginal bleed. It can also be a miscarriage. This you can confirm by taking a blood pregnancy test since the test remains positive for a month after miscarriage. If it is miscarriage you will have to go for a D and C.
You would need to get some investigations done including hormone analysis, PAP smear, ultrasound and maybe CT scan of pelvis.
Consult a gynecologist regarding this.
Chronic constipation can be due to diet poor in roughage or fiber, dehydration, diabetes, hypothyroidism, colon disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticular diseases, cancers, severe acidity etc. It can also be due to milk allergy and other food allergies.
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
