Back in January I became dizzy (non-spinning) very suddenly. I was at home when it happened and the dizziness never went away and all these months later it's still going strong. I ended up going to the ER right after it started and they did ECG, blood tests, etc, and nothing abnormal was detacted.
When I returned to work a day or so later, I discoverd that another woman in my office came down with the same exact symptoms as myself, on the same date, and she too has been dizzy ever since.
I went to 2 ENT's and all tests were normal except a caloric test and balance test done on me showed problems with my vestibular functions but no cause could be determined. I don't have any ear discomfort or allergy symptoms at all.
I had an MRI, this was normal.
My dizziness fluctuates throughout the day, and seems worse while I'm sitting upright and still. My coworker's dizziness fluctuates as well, usually in correlation to mine.
My coworker thinks it's allergies but I'm not really convinced. She is taking a variety of meds for allergies and she hasn't improved.
Is threre any clue as to what this could be? This is so strange to me and it's really ruining my life, I'm not sure what it could be or what to do now.
