what is causing my head to sting?

I get a stinging pain on top of my head on right hand side about tree inches from my forhead. It feels like a blister under the skin. I have had an MRI scan and have a small Mengioma but that is on the other side. There was nothing  to explain the stinging. I read elsewhere on this site that Clanzpine 2.5 ml  should work for it but it didn't say what the complaint was. Any idea?

It could be related to the meningioma.
For example an Intraventricular meningioma can block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid , causing  symptoms  in other locations of the  brain.
Do you have all the details of the MRI?
I'm very unsure of the  information you read on Olanzapine 2.5 ml  (not Clanzpine), which is an antipsychotic drug used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar.
Best wishes,
Niko

Hi Niko,
Thank you so much for replying to my text and with this helpful information. Under >>INVESTIGATIONS AND RESULTS <>>>>>>>>>MRI Head with contrast-High Resolution T1-weighted images were otained in all 3 planes and after intravenous gadolinium and comparison made with yesterday's (CT) scan.
The 12mm ovoid mass lesion in the right cavernous sinus is again demonstrated. It is displacing the right internal cartoid anteriorly and slightly compressing it. Post intravenous gadolinium it demonstrates relatively uniform enhancement with an enhancing dural tail extending along the inferomedial right temporal lobe.

I note it is relatively low signal on T2 weighted imaging which is against the diagnosis of a schwannoma. The lesion exhibited increased density with some faint peripheral calcification on the recent CT.<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I don't think the info I found on the meds was right.

Best wishes,

Meningiomas develop on the  membrane that covers the brain and close to the skull.
In  your case  according to the MRI details you posted,  the meningioma  is demonstrated in the right cavernous sinus, on the same side of your  stinging pain.
