whats wrong with me?

hi. I'm 19 years old, an elite athlete in cycling, and currently in military service. A year ago i had mono (EB). In october i started getting acid reflux when working out. In december, after a difficult training camp, i had a pain in my upper abdomen. After doing tests i was diagnosed with h. Pylori, i also had high amylase and low ferritin. I did regular treatment for the h pylori, stuck to a very simple diet, and started taking a ferritin supplement. The week i finished the antibiotics for the h pylori i felt so healthy-better than i had felt in a while. A week later i came down with accute tonsilitis. I was prescribed antibiotics for the tonsilitis, and my stomach pains returned. A few days after finishing treatment for tonsilitis, i got a strange pain in my throat/neck. It feels like my glands are swolen but i have trouble swallowing. I didnt have a chance to see a doctor but my army unit's medic gave me throat lozenges that dont help.
I also have a croupy cough. I am constantly fatigued, depressed, and feel weak. The military doctors put out the fires but dont see me on a holistic level. I am usually very healthy, highly active. I eat plenty of fruits and veg, legumes, grains nuts and seeds. I rarely eat processed foods. I feel hopeless, and want to have more of an idea of whats going on in my body. Any ideas?

Of course you want to know what's going on with your body and have every right to know. It's not easy to function while being sick. Yes, it can get depressing being sick AND some vitamin deficiencies can cause that.

Organic apple cider vinegar (Bragg's brand) can help with stomach issues. 1 tsp in water.

Antibiotics kill the good bacteria along with the bad. Probiotics, some plain Greek yogurt can help.

When you have throat pain, gargle with warm salt water at least 2x daily.

Have you checked bloodwork for deficiencies in vitamins/minerals?

Illness and vitamin/mineral deficiencies will cause symptoms of fatigue, weakness and many other things.

Being low in vitamin D can cause health issues. If you are and need to take supplements only take D3, not D2. Daily D3 raised my levels. You may also need magnesium (not magnesium Oxide, it's absorption rate is not high and is more beneficial for helping with bowel movements), and Vitamin B12 (not cyanocobalamin). Methylcobalamin is better. Are you getting enough Vitamin C?

military Service can put a lot of stress on your body. Plus being an athlete is making your body work harder. The body constantly uses magnesium and vitamin C. It's best to split the dose throughout the day, or at least morning and night. Vitamin D should be taken in the morning with some type of fat in the food because it's a fat soluble vitamin and needs fats to absorb.

It's important to know your starting level though. If your levels are optimal you may not need certain supplements. Also, if you are low and need supplements, you need to be retested in about 3 months to make sure you know your levels are improving.

Normal lab range is 30-100ng/mL
You should be above 50 for optimal level.

Vitamin B12 should be above 500 (closer to 800 is better)
The serum B12 test isn't an accurate gauge of deficiency. It measures all B12 in the body, active & inactive & doesn't show whether a person is deficient at a cellular level, regardless of blood serum level. Symptoms are better indicators. Active B12, Homocysteine & MMA are more accurate markers

rbc mag=red blood cell magnesium, it looks at the level of magnesium in the cell and not in the serum.

Magnesium RBC
The range is usually given as 4.2-6.9 mg/dL;
the optimum level is between 6.0-6.5mg/dL

some tests are good that are done via serum like calcium and phosphorus.

You are in the military and have an obligation to follow their protocols, and "don't have a chance to see a doctor". doesn't happen, unless you are under combat conditions. Report to sick call, and go through the procedures.  Infections have a way of cascading. This is what you appear to have.  Right now, it appears you are not deployable, which not good for you or your unit.
