Just one more thing I forgot to mention re toenail ridges...

I have this problem, too, and also on my fingernails, and it is a condition called psoriatic nails, and people with psoriasis have this problem. This skin problem is in our family, although I have no major issue with skin manifestation, my brother is covered from head to toe with plaques and suffers. I have mild form. But interestingly, psoriasis is an outward skin manifestation of other systemic disease, including high iron.

Take care...

Fatigue is also early sign of iron overload. Docs not screening for this and doing wrong tests, or not suspecting the early signs of iron overload.

Look up the symptoms associated with this condition, It can come from many sources, but if you have the genetic form of iron overload, called hereditary hemochromatosis, you are predisposed to storing iron from birth. Majority don't know about this until late in life. Men in 40 and 50's and women about 15 years later because they have monthly periods until menopause, when the iron really starts to build more.

Anyway, worth looking into, fatigue is one very early sign, and joint and body pain, as the iron gets stored in joints and tissues and organs.

Very toxic and very dangerous. Docs unaware.

HI,

Fatigue is a common occurrence for me.  It is related to neurological issues.  But, you are having dry cough as well.  Dry coughing and lungs can work together to cause fatigue.  Breathing is interfered with when coughing and your lungs are working together to rid the lungs of whatever is ailing you.
