Sensation of something in throat

Hello,

I have a problem, for a few months I have a sensation of something in the left part of my throat, it is more accute in the evenings and in the mornings I cannot feel it. I am 19 years old and I smoke for about 3 years ( I am trying to quit now, very sorry I started). I am stressed because I think it might be cancer, what do you think ? I studied a bit on the internet and saw that throat cancer is allmost 0 in my age group and I am not smoking for so long. I am very stressed because I have a job and go to a very difficult University, could this be the cause of stress (I am very stressed at home too with problems in the family). I would highly appreciate any directions you can give me. Please tell me your opinion, I will visit a specialist, but what is your guess ? Could it be cancer ?

Many thanks,
George

Sorry for posting this specific question, and thank you for your help. I will contact my doctor ASAP, the problem is that I am from Romania and the medical system here is below anything and for an investigaiton I have to wait days in lines, so that is why I asked, because that days are full of stress if I think I might have cancer. I am glad to hear there are multiple simptoms. I read some forums that the wisdom tooth can be the problem and my left side one just grew, maybe that is it.

Many thanks,
George

George, people with wisdom tooth and other dental problems often do have discomfort in their throat due to the lymph nodes swelling.  Please talk to a provider to get more information about this.
