Anticipating surgery

What is the typical recovery time for A&P Repair.  I am an accountant and work at a desk all day, little or no lifting, and have a very hectic schedule.  I want to have the surgery done but can't afford to be off work 2 weeks.

I had an A&P repair 3 months ago, so speaking from my personal experience....for me the minimum time was about 2 weeks before I really wanted to do anything, or feel relatively normal again.... I was still pretty tired until about 3 weeks...and I have been home the whole time, sitting at my desk working from my home office.  Hope this helps.

I will be having it done too, along with a TVT.  I stand on my feet all day and have to lift heavy patients, and my dr said I would be off only for a week, and just on light duty for the next 5weeks.  THe people I've talked to about it said that they felt fine and recovery was no big deal.
