does this sound like endo?

Hello. I'm looking for help because I'm feeling like my doctor is not taking my concerns seriously. I am open to the possibility that I am overreacting, so if what I need is for my fears to be calmed, I will welcome that too!

-29 years old -off BCP for about 2 years, actively TTC (charting, etc) about 7 months. -always have had very heavy, clotty, long periods (about 6-7 days, days 1-3 heavy, then fairly light). 28 day cycles. -pelvic pain with deep penetration during intercourse -chemical pregnancy history x 1 -uterine fibroid ("small" per GYN) on ultrasound -retroverted uterus on ultrasound, which was done right around ovulation time -chronic back pain, possibly due to physical hardships of job (work in hospital, lifting patients), not sure if back pain is due to musculoskeletal problems or ??? endo?? -lower back pain (almost around kidneys) in mornings - I could swear it is worse between ovulation and period -diarrhea and constipation around period -PAINFUL bowel movements (rectal and pelvic) on days 1-2 of menstrual cycle, some R hip pain around 1st day of period - very strange location (not really in joint but very deep), kidney pain (deep in back, bilaterally beneath ribs on back)

MD has taken the stance of: -lots of women with endo can get pregnant (doesn't want to consider lap until TTC 1 year) - wants to refer me to GI doc for ? IBS and says that if this were endo, I would experience constipation/pain with BMs month-long (not just period) -says she could refer me to urologist for kidney pain -says lots of women have retroverted uterus and can still get pregnant -says if this were endo, my period would have gotten worse (mine has ALWAYS been bad)

Any help that is out there is appreciated. I am grateful for your responses in advance!

I had  endo and never had trouble with constipation.  Once they finally figured out that I had endo, they said it was the worse case they had ever seen.  They started testing me for kidney stones first, and then found a cyst on my ovary and when I went in for surgery..they found so much endo they thought it was cancer.  If you feel you have endo, keep pressing them for answers.

If TTC, and you have not succeeded by 6 months, you should get an evaluation by a reproductive endocrinologist (Dr. Plosker has a fertility forum here at medhelp). My understanding is that endometriosis can often make it harder to get pregnant, but this is not my area.

REgarding your pelvic pain with intersourse, if your gyn has ruled out serious pathology, like infections, pelvic masses, you should consider an evaluation by a pelvic floor physical therapist, who can diagnose pelvic muscle trigger points, and treat you for these. Many women with active trigger points receive great benefit  from PT administered by a qualified therapist.
