BULGING VEIN UNDER FORESKIN

hi
i noticed a single vein has become enlarged just behind the head of the penis. i noticed it because it kinds feels like a hard spring coil poking out from a mattress (matress being the foreskin). it happened over a period of 24 hours but im not sure when or how. it wraps itself around the penis, stopping just under the head. its a bit like a manga cartoon vein!. theres no pain. what is this? and is it serious?

hey,
Just noticed the same thing.. exactly perfect description. I was freeking out a bit as I just started having sex with a new girl.

Thanks for posting as it saves a pointless trip to the Doc.

Question though, as it does not hurt, but is quite noticeable, will continued sexual activity be harmful, should I use more lube.

regards

hey man thanks for helping out
so you say these veins come and go? so this one might just go back down again, but if it doesnt by around 2 weeks then see a doctor

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
It is normal to have a bulging vein on and off on the penis at various locations. They disappear as they come. If a vein persists for more than two weeks you must consult your doctor. The only point of consideration is clots in these veins. However the clots make them painful. So if there is pain then also consult your doctor. Do not fiddle with it. Leave it alone.

Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examination.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
