Bump on left testical

Hi, I know I shouldn't have waited this long but I have had a small hard pea shaped lump attached to the side of my left testical, I found it when I was about 14 or 15 and it was prob the size of a bb. I am now 24 and it is about the size of a pea. Should this of be of a concern? What could it be? Could it be cancerous?

Dr. Told me it was a cyst. He said I could get an ultrasound for added piece of mind but he didn't think it was necessary and that the findings were normal

See a urologist to find out what's going on.  It is probably not cancerous, but you need to find out what it is and find out if it will cause fertility problems or what's going on.
