Can an inguinal hernia cause testicle pain? And how can I get this fixed?

Approximately 6 months ago I was wrestling with someone and, one day later, began feeling right testicle pain. The pain is intermittent, ranging from a level 1 pain to 8. Long car rides make it worse. Laying down makes it better. Ultrasounds of the scrotum showed normal blood flow etc. Finally they took a ultrasound of lower abdominal/ right pelvic region and found a inguinal hernia on the right side. I don't notice much at the hernia site itself, but I do feel pain in the right testicle.

Could this be the cause of the pain in my testicle? If so, how? And what can I do to fix it?
