Frequent UTIs now turned into no feeling to urinate

I get very frequent utis. Because they began once I became sexually active, all my doctors have said it is related to sex and have no prescribed me a preventive antibiotic (nitrofuratoin 50mg) to take after intercourse. I stopped taking cranberry supplements and started to do the preventative antibiotic. Lately I’ve notice I have no feeling to urinate. I used to always feel a full bladder and urinate every 2-3hrs but now I sometimes feel a pressure in my urethra/vaginal region and no feeling to need to urinate. But when I do urinate I have a regular flow of urine (completely white/light yellow color). There is no pain when i urinate. I have lately also been getting lower abdominal cramping in what seems to be where my ovaries are. I recently had a pelvic exam and it came out ok but I started experiencing this symptoms after the pelvic exam was performed (like a day later). What is causing this? Should I be concerned? Also any other recommendations in preventing utis besides antibiotics?

Water with a spoon of honey is good for UTIs and so is cranberry juice. I’m not really sure on what could cause it, sorry.
