Full bladder and need to urinate but physically can’t! Help!!

Hi
I have a full bladder (I’ve had over 500ml of fluid since my last urination) and have been trying to go for over 2 hours now. It’s very  painful and my last urination stang. My lower abdomen is really tender (I also have breakthrough bleeding- I am on the pill) and my lower back is also super tender. I have chronic undiagnosed stomach pain but this doesn’t feel like that. Also over the last fewish weeks, I have gotten up over three times on average (some times up to six) at nighttime to urinate. During the day, I also urinate more frequently than I used to. It is nearly always small amounts of urine. I am a 17 year old female so this shouldn’t be happening. I would really appreciate any feedback. Thank you

To state the obvious you should get to a doctor, preferably a urologist, pronto.  You could have kidney infection which can get quite serious very quickly.  The volume - 500ml - of urine isn't that outrageous (I was holding 1100 - 1200 until I had a prostate procedure done) but if you feel you can't go that's again a sign of potentially serious problems.  You need to get checked out as soon as possible.
