Hard Mass in Head of Penis

Hello everyone. I'm 20 years old and I've noticed for what seems to be two or 3 months now a hard mass in the head of my penis. Before I go on, let me just say I was circumcised at birth in case that is relevant. I don't remember anything feeling hard up here, but it does feel like it belongs oddly enough. Anyway, I thought nothing of it until about two weeks ago and I decided to not go to the doctor unless the mass felt it was getting any bigger over time. So far it haven't felt any difference in size which is good. It is almost always painless but today I began to feel some pain from it but its probably from messing with it earlier. The mass isn't round which surprised me, rather its a line that goes down the inside of the head. Like I said before I didn't think much of it until I noticed a somewhat darkened strip of skin on the head of my penis just now and I honestly don't know if it is a circumcision scar I forgot about or if it appeared recently. Lastly a few months ago now I had very bad pain coming from the bottom of the head of my penis on the right side for three or four days and then it passed, not sure if these two things relate. I have considered this may be some blockage or irritation of some kind since when trying to clear the main vein so to speak I have pushed too much blood too fast to the head and it hurt for a few minutes a few times now. Not sure if that may have caused this either. Any advice?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include cysts, warts, growths from the skin/ underlying connective tissue etc, I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management/
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

Even though I did include what I noticed to be a darker line of skin on the head, the mass itself is in the head of the penis. I'm going to schedule an appointment with my doctor about this tomorrow since I completely forgot to tell him last Thursday, I hope its nothing too serious and I'm keeping calm about it but still the mind always assumes the worst. Thanks for responding.
