Hard String Under Skin On Penis?

I noticed yesterday that i have a thin hard like string starting just under the head of my penis going all the way to where the penis connects to the body. I dont have any swelling just noticed it yesterday. What could this be?

Exactly, TK - often we don't hear the end result or whether it was ever resolved. So bmoris, please update us on this issue. Another Q for you - you say this runs from the head to the base of the penis, but is this on the 'top' as you look down, the side, or the underside of the shaft?

How are you? What other symptoms are present?The venous network  can be affected by inflammatory processes under certain conditions, such as sexual trauma . This could also be due to  a variety of issues such as superficial thrombophlebitis, sclerotizing lymphangitis or  peyronies disease. Direct clincial examination must be done for proper evaluation.  Diagnostic tests such as doppler ultrasound may be requested also. Take care and do keep us posted.
