I peed a rock

Apparently I just peed a small brown rock. I say apparently because i didn't notice until I looked at the toilet and saw this small brown sandy rock. I picked it up and it strongly smelled like pure urine (which makes me think I in fact peed this rock).

The rock was not rounded, it was more of a flat shape.
It didn't hurt at all.
After the incident I drank lots of water and have peed once... without any other rocks showing up.
I don't think my penis hurts... it maybe burns a bit since the incident a couple of hours ago.

This has never happened to me.
I don't have any kind of real pain in my body.

What could this be? Should I visit the doctor or just let it be?
Could this be a kidney stone? Are there any other problems that may lead to peeing a rock?

Thanks a lot!!!

Hello,
It can be a bladder calculus and to rule it out as well presence of any other bladder stones, you need to consult a urologist and get investigations done.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Sounds like a kidney stone. If it is cut down on salt.

Thanks a lot.
And, is it possible that it was a urinary calculi but I experienced no pain at all?
The absence of pain is what tricks me.

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be a kidney, ureteric or bladder stone. To rule out presence of any other stones, it is advisable to get a KUB (KIDNEY, URINARY BLADDER) ultrasound or x-ray done. Patients with urinary calculi may report pain, infection, or hematuria. I suggest you to get an ultrasound or CT abdomen at the earliest.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
