I think that my urethral opening is getting larger

I’m a 16 year old male and have been noticing lately that my urethral opening is getting larger. This may be due to masturbation but I’m not sure, and for years I have had the unsolved issue of pain or discomfort when I pee. I want to go to a doctor now but have been dealing with it silently as I’m apprehensive about telling my parents. Could an explanation for my urethral opening getting larger be a swollen urethra, or just too much masturbation? Also is this change reversible as I don’t want it to end up being disfiguring. Thanks a lot for reading!

So, at 16, you could probably talk to the doctor alone. Do you get an annual physical? That's a good time. But you don't have to say 'why' it appears larger in terms of your ideas as to why. The doctor knows you masturbate as a teen boy. (normal behavior). I will say that it may be in your imagination. When the urethra opening gets larger, often or usually the lining will protrude out a little and you have a donut looking thing on the end of your penis. Go easy on yourself masturbating and as your doctor to take a look.

I tried that and it actually worked pretty well so I guess I was worried over nothing, so thanks so much for responding! I still have unresolved pain when I pee which I have been putting off confronting but this has convinced me to
After a few days it’s back to normal which is great
I am also a 16 year old with this problem and it usually burns after I pee, but only for a minute, but I masturbated with dove soap, and now it's been 2 days since then, and I am just wondering how serious it is. And also It just feels like a knife stabs my penis whenever I pee, so basically what im asking is, is it serious? how long would it take to heal? does it go away overnight? and do you have any methods of not feeling pain when you pee?
You might have a urinary tract infection, especially if you have to pee more often than usual, or if you suddenly get the sensation that you have to pee right away.
