Invega sustenna / reduce semen permanent?

I have been taking invega sustenna (antipsychotic) injection every month for over a year now and since then have no semen coming out when I ejaculate and have no pleasure from the orgasm at all... could this be permanent?

This medication is known to cause difficulties w/ sexual functioning, including reduced volume of ejaculate. However, I believe things will return to normal after going off treatment...

I’m not a Dr.,  so can’t answer that, and also I have a feeling this is somewhat individual, i.e., some guys might recover function quicker & others could take longer. Very sorry you’re going thru this, sincerely hope things return to normal ASAP...

It took about 2 months for me to be able to produce semen again but it’s still not as much as it once was

I had a total of 2 injections. My last injection was on March 25 2016 today is the 7 month mark.... I still can't get a natural erection and I still can't loose weight. This is ******* ridiculous. Seriously whoever came up with this injection needs a shotgun bullet through their ******* head... The one who created should inject his god dam self before injecting others... I still can't get a natural erection, I still can't loose weight, and I still can't exercise. Seriously this is ****** up. There is no more joy in life.... I apologize for my language. I pose no threat in anyway... I'm just reallyyyyyy angry. This is unbelievable. I'd rather be shot up with heroin than Invega Sustenna.

I now have been lowered to 75mg invega sustenna every 4 weeks but still experiencing sexual problems I think my psych will be lowering me to 50mg then if it doesn't work he will try Abilify... hopefuly that works

Invega sustenna may cause difficulty maintain and erection, decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm. But these side effects are not permanent and should go away one the medicine is stopped.
