Is a 8.7 cm cyst in kidney possibly just a "simple cyst"?

I had a CT scan done last week that showed an 8.7 cm (not mm) cyst on my left kidney along with a 2 mm kidney stone. Is it possible that a cyst this large is just a simple cyst that will require minimal treatment?

Your test results indicate that you have polycystic kidney disease and that the cyst is too large. The stones are not big, but because your kidneys have cysts, your stones, you should pay attention to them, avoid strenuous activities, and walk less in people.
