Lump on the penis

Im sorry but i do not know where this question goes so i just put it in general.

Hello. I have just gotten this problem an hour ago and i was really worried when i saw it when i went to the toilet to pee.

There is a lump on my penis..I am 13 years old and im wondering if this is puberty or is there a problem with me.
I was having a class and the top of my penis started to itch, it was just a normal itch, but after awhile of scratching i noticed the itch went down to my penis. I started to scratch it..the tip of my penis where the urine comes out started to feel funny so i scratched it.

Now, there is a lump near the part of the penis where the urine comes out from. Its a small lump. It dosen't hurt but i am really worried.

Actually i'm also not sure if its a lump or its part of the skin of the penis.

So my question is - Is there a problem with my penis or is this puberty?
I have also attatched a picture.

I really appreciate your help.

Please write back,
Bob.

Thank you very much Vanessa. I really appreciate your help.

I hope its insect bite because my ball sack was feeling a little itchy and so was the area around my penis.

Thanks again Vanessa.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

I understand you are worried about this. Right now, we can not really define what this lump is. It may be an insect bite or a mild skin irritation. This should resolve spontaneously. You are only 13 and other differentials such as sexually related causes, skin growths like tumors and warts do not apply here. Observe the area and see if this enlarges, becomes irritated, swollen or painful. If these are present, you may need to have this assessed by your physician. Inform your parents or guardian about this if the bump changes in character.
