Lumps, Please Answer

Hi,

I have had for the last couple of years a strange lump on the bottom of one testicle that comes and goes but it is not connected to the testicle but to the vein or tube that runs to it?, it can last 2 minutes or 2 hours sometimes big sometimes small, what can this be is it something to be concerned about some form of cancer maybe?

Regards,

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be a small irritated hair follicle or a sebaceous cyst. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.

Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected, then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
