Masturbated with epididymitis

I masturbated with epididymitis and my right testical feels like there's a cold burning feeling. Could masturbation cause any discomfort?

I had Epididymitis many years ago (around age 35) & was told not to engage in any type of sexual activity (which would include masturbation, obviously) for 2-3 weeks, which was tough. When I finally resumed, the 1st couple ejaculations felt a little uncomfortable, so I waited about 5 days between, then things started returning to normal. So its prbly best to ‘let things rest’ for 2-3 wks & then resume activity slowly, then once things start to feel normal again, you can prbly return to your regular ‘schedule’…
