Pain in testicles, above left testicle.

I have been experiencing minor pain/discomfort above my left testicle for the past day now, it began after masturbation. The area where the spermatic cord is seems to be larger on my left side and the discomfort is coming from there. It is not acute pain unless I move it around with my hands for an extended period, it is a dull pain similar to putting minor pressure on the testicles. It does not seem to be the epididymis as there is space between the testicle and this tubular growth thing, but it doesn't seem painful enough to be a hernia. I also have done no activity that was particularly strenuous, only minor 15 min excersize when I wake up in the morning. Could this be swelling  caused by over masturbation (not chronic daily, but have been daily for the past few weeks), or could this minor pain/discomfort likely be something more serious?
