Penile Curvature
I am a 25 yr. old male experiencing difficulty being intimate because of what appears to be a significant curve in my penis. The head of the penis is actually rotated to the left significantly having the appearance that the penis twisted. It is sometimes difficult to urinate and a challenge to have urine flow consistently and even in a straight flow.
I am extremely insecure about this and don't know what to do. One doctor who I emailed thought that it is a congenital curvature. Are there any doctors in the NY NJ area able to help ?

Hi,
It appears that you do have congenital curvature of the penis. If the penis appears twisted as well, it is likely that you have some degree of penile torsion as well.
The decision to treat penile curvature surgically is based on whether there is a curve in excess of 30 degrees of the normal. This is because any curve beyond this would make intercourse painful and difficult.
