Mine snapped years ago. My erection points straight ahead, no longer up. My erection lost about a half inch in length which sucks, but other than that, no problems. It's been years. I was told them that surgery was about $10k and painful so if it still works bother.
I'm 31 and have the same problem. I injured mine more than a year ago. I'm afraid I waited too long to get help and condition got worse. Erections are weaker, no support at base of the penis. There is an exploratory procedure to fix, but I've read mixed reviews. After the procedure to repair the suspensory ligament they recommend waiting 6 weeks for it to heal. If you've only strained or stretched your psl and you're serious about it healing properly, you might consider giving it that long. At least. Then you'll know. I'd also not wait to go to the doctor that whole time. I'd go see a doctor right away (a urologist, or better yet, an andrologist or a sexual medicine specialist).
Ok. So I also have had similar. Vigorous sex, bent it back, felt a thud right side at the base. Lost the ability to push wee out. Coldness in the area. Basically trauma and internal swelling with restricted blood flow. I've figured out that you don't get a spontaneous erection if penile suspensory ligament is damaged but you still get erections so the medical profession is confused. I've had ultra sound and they have found significant muscle tearing in my groin probably because I kept on having sex with damaged ligament and played tons of sport too. I can now get full size erections but it's not made like it used to be. I also don't feel myself like I'm ready to have sex with every girl in the office. 10 days ago I stopped masterbating and improvement is really good but I want to be 100%. I'm almost 5 months in but I slowed down recovery with continued activity. One week of abstinence has beaten 5 months of waiting. Live strong website suggests exercises. It would be good to hear from someone who regains 100% but I guess they lose interest in the condition when healthy so maybe that's a good sign. Please respond so we help each other.
I have very similar condition and am afriad that it might become chronic. Last year it took 4 moths to heal up, and now I got similar problems, fighting with it 6th week. Ligament heal very slow and every risky movement make the situation worse. I am now hesitating whether apply some local analgesics shot because the pain is really annoying and is still settled down there.
dude ı have the same problems for 5 week ,do you have any recovery?
