Penis feels uncomfortable and always wet

So basically my penis tip has been feeling uncomfortable for quite some time now , I have been to the doctor and he said its nothing but that can't be right. Penis tip feels always wet , I go often to the toilet and feel generally uncomfortable down there... I took a urine test and got as a result 1000 cfu/ml , does anyone here know what that means ?

If your doctor did not send a urine sample to the laboratory for a culture test, then it would be a good idea to have this done.  This would show which type of bacteria you have, if any, and the lab would inform the doctor which type of antibiotic would be the one to treat the strain of the bacteria that you have.

As you are always feeling "wet" and uncomfortable, once any infection is sorted out (it is highly likely that you have a urinary tract infection which is causing dribbles), that would stop.

If it persists, I feel you should ask your doctor to refer you to a urologist.  Any urinary problem in a man can also be as a result of a prostate problem, so it would be worth to get that checked out.  Your doctor can do that at the surgery, just have a clean bottom and wear clean underwear.

The other issue that can cause an uncomfortable feeling in the tip of your penis is if you have a fungal infection.  The doctor should have taken a swab to see if you have a fungal problem.  Fungal problems are treated with anti-fungal creams and you can also buy these from the pharmacy without a prescription.  There is also a single dose oral capsule called Fluconazole 100mg which too can be purchased from the pharmacy without a prescription.  Best thing is to have a swab taken first.

Make an appointment with a different doctor at the doctors practise and take a mid stream morning urine sample for the doctor to test and to send to the lab.  Get your prostate checked and ask for a swab to be done to see if you do have any fungal problem.

Do not use any soaps to wash your penis.  Use a soap that has a pH level like our skin; baby washes and non perfumed soaps should be fine.  Wear cotton underwear instead of manmade fabrics.  Use non biological detergents and fabric softeners that are suitable for sensitive skin.  Only use latex free condoms to protect you from catching any sexually transmitted diseases.

If it is a fungal problem, as a home remedy you can apply lots of natural set yogurt to your washed and gently dried penis.  You can apply this as often as is required and it will not give you any side effects.

As it is highly likely that you have a urinary infection, it is very important for you to drink lots of fluids and especially water.  2 litres (4 pints) is usually recommended, more if you are exercising and sweating profusely.  Otherwise don't drink more than that because having too much can be just as dangerous and not drinking enough.

Hope you get sorted out soon.
Best wishes.

Test results seem to vary.
1000 cfu/ml seems to be the lower threshold for indicating a urinary tract infection. It can be interpreted as either positive or negative, depending on other factors.

That's what I got from googling your test result. I'm not a doctor, nor am I well informed about that type of test.

Your bio indicates you are a woman. It would help to change that, and add an age so others know whether you are a young buck or an older gentleman.

A "where you live" location would help, as I don't know if we are talking about American medical tests or a possibly different test they run in some other country.

In this case, it would also be helpful to know if you are circumsized or not. Whether you have a foreskin or not would add one more detail that could help others answer your question.

Sorry I have not been very helpful.
