Post-testicular torsion surgery recovery questions

I had surgery for testicular torsion 3 days ago. I lost the testicle because I waited hours to go to the ER. I have these questions that I should have asked before I went home...

When I shower, is it fine to just let my remaining ball to be unsupported?

Are there any positions I should avoid when laying down? Laying on my back all day is uncomfortable at times.

Is it ok to spread my legs far?

Is it ok to stretch my legs?

Is it ok to laugh or tense up the groin area? Will that cause the stitching to open or anything?

Thanks for your answers

Hi there!

Yes, it is fine for the other testicle to hand normally.
There are no recommended positions. You can choose whatever you are comfortable with.
Yes, it is fine to spread/ stretch legs after the surgical site has healed.
Yes, it is fine to do activities that mildly tense up the region; while activities such as abdominal exercises etc. that grossly tense up the region are best avoided.
Hope the information is helpful.

Take care!

Ok, most of those questions no longer need to be answered...

But how long until I can masturbate? How long will the dissolvable stitches take to dissolve?
