Prostatitis? Ideas?

For the past 1 1/2 years, i have had the following symptoms : occasional difficulty urinating, frequent urination, burning sensation after ejaculating or during erection(sometimes), a swollen and sometimes painful epididymitis(left side), ache in the anus area from time to time, and noticed my urine is a dark yellow in the morning. I have yet to go to the doctor because it really doesnt bother me all that much and is fairly easy to ignore, and also hasnt gotten worse.( plus i have extreme parannoia about health issues) I have been a frequent pee-er since i was in my teens especially when drinking alcohol, and i have self diagnosed phimosis on my penis as it hurts to pull back past head when erect (been like that as long as i can remember). I have read alot and it sounds like some type of infection, seeing as how my epidydimitis is also affected. Another note, my girlfriend of 6 years has had chlamydia in the past, and has been with multiple people. She will have painful periods from time to time and most mornings she has nasuea since i met her, even went to doctor and they questioned about chlamydia but she had just been tested a month prior after her ex had been cheating on her. Could it be possible she has has had chlamydia with no major symptoms for this long, and i have gotten it from her and just got symptoms 1 and half years ago?( also been the longest ive not taken antibiotics for something else, get a bad chest cold mostly once a year). Have not yet discussed anything with her as i fear it may insult her to tell her that. But also was trying out anal sex with her around the same time(maybe e coli infection?) Any thought or ideas from anyone that has had a similar experience would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Some of your symptoms of urination problems, burning after ejaculation, pain in the anal region do make me think Prostatitis is a possibility. Sometimes there can be a slight aching in the testicles as well. Some guys have described the feeling as if they're sitting on a ball that's pressing into the perineal area. I would see your Dr fairly soon - this may not be too bad at the moment, but if it gets worse you can start to feel pretty miserable. It can even be difficult to find a comfortable position when sitting.

Yeah i guess i dont have that feeling.. not yet anyways. I sit all day long at school it doesnt make anything feel worse
OK, well, it could either be just a very minor case of Prostatitis, or could be smthg else. But either way, I think it would be best to see your Dr & get checked out. Sometimes these things clear up on their own, but if they don’t & things get worse, they can be more difficult to treat & you could be stuck w/ symptoms much longer...
Yeah def am going to.. Thanks for your thoughts and advice it is appreciated!

So, I don't think your girlfriend's issues have anything to do with this.  Painful periods are not uncommon and being nauseated in the morning is also pretty common due to low blood sugar when we wake up.  Eating should almost always rectify it even if she doesn't feel like it because she is nauseated.  I assume she got treated for chlamydia.  Then follow up checks to make sure it is really gone.  How long ago was this, by the way and she had three clean tests after?

Have you been to the doctor yourself?  If you have a kidney or urinary tract infection, you could have symptoms like that and need antibiotics.  And if it recurs, you might have an underlying kidney problem. So, you need to work with your doctor.

Thanks for your thoughts, i think ill cancel out the chlamydia idea. Test did say clean apparently after her and her ex broke up. Not sure of she slept with anyone between him and me though. No i have not been to the doctor but plan on going soon i have been in school and working so pretty busy.  There have been times since this started the symptoms have gone for a couple weeks and i think it jas cleared up but then it always starts up again. Probably is a good idea to get checked out.
