Severe testicular, urinary, abdominal pain

My name is James I am 25 years old. Over the last two days I have started to
develop severe pain, especially on my right testicle. I also noticed I am
having difficulty passing urine, which isn't painful but I do have a feeling
the urine is ready to void then suddenly retracts back in. As far as my
testicular pain I started to notice tenderness about 3-4 months ago. The
right testicle was very tender to touch; recently I have noticed swelling
and a change in the shape of the testicle also. I also started having lower
abdominal pain and have noticed swelling of what I think are my lymph nodes.
For the last year I've also noticed a loss of muscle and weight gain mainly just in my abdomen as well as hair loss in my pubic region and arm pits etc.
and inability to grow facial hair. I have not had any previous testicular
problems that I know of but medically I was catheterized approximately one
year ago for urinary retention. I received MRI's and testing but the cause
was never found. Currently I am on Lexapro for depression which I was
diagnosed with a year ago also And Adderal which is for my ADHD which I've
had since high school. I did also start to notice a pain in my testicle when
ejaculating that started about 4 months ago also. I have not had sexual
intercourse, only masturbation for over around four years. My father did previously have testicular cancer and as well, there have been cases of
prostate cancer in our family as well. The only other medical condition I
was diagnosed with is Crohn's disease other than that I have not had any
surgeries or problems. I need to know if that is something I should go to
the emergency room for, or call a urologist which the earliest they will get
me in is in a month? And I wanted to know if there is anything I should
watch for or look for to determine what to do, and how, if needed to get in
to a urologist sooner. I would also like any ideas on what this is.

James,

If you have to wait a month for an appointment go the the ER and tell them your father has had Tc. You need to have an ultrasound of the testicle.... don't wait I hope both you and your Dad are ok.

Hi James,

It could be that you have a UTI or infection in or near your testicles. With the back ground information that you have given, it is best if you have medical consultation as soon as possible. things could also be due to the other things that you have mentioned.

The doctors on tis site can anly speculate on your symptoms, problems. You need to have a face to face consultation with a doctor.

All the best.

Ron
