Soreness at Base of Penis After Jelqing For A Year Now

Please read my story, I'm lost in the dark and confused at whats going on with me. So a year and 5 months I experimented with jelqing. I only did two sessions of jelqing/stretching for about 10 minutes each session, two consecutive days. I'm not sure If I performed the exercise correctly but while doing it I may have experienced mild discomfort but for sure not painful at all. It wasn't until 2 or 3 days after the last session I was going to have sex with my girlfriend but I could not get my penis up and that's when I realized It was really really sore. It was extremely sore for the next 3 weeks healing very very slowly. I didn't get an erection for those 3 weeks either or do anything sexual as it was so sore. During this time my penis seemed to be in a hard flaccid type state. After about a month the soreness was fairly mild but it seemed to have hit a healing plateau. Its nearly a year and a half later and I still feel the soreness at the base of my shaft. The pain comes and goes and will change spots where the pain is most prominent. I'll occasionally have a week or even a month where I almost don't feel the soreness at all, but ill also go through periods where It's more sore than normal. It's hard to describe exactly what I'm feeling but it feels like a mild soreness, pressure, or even a numbness dull feeling. Getting erect isn't painful at all and sex doesn't hurt either but I will have post soreness. Nothing is visually wrong with my penis but the feeling does bring a lot of anxiety to sex and make it hard for me to even be in the mood for it. I've been in a relationship for 5 years and just wishing I could go back to normal. Its been really hard finding information on what could be wrong with me, I'm kind of under the impression that I may have caused nerve damage. Sometimes I will feel a funny spot on my inner thigh or bottom of the middle of my foot but this hasn't been problematic. I'm really afraid I caused permanent damage, It would be pretty sad to live the rest of my life like this. Thanks for reading :)

It does sound like maybe you caused some nerve damage or some scar tissue.

I have a feeling that you won't like this answer, but you really need to see a doctor. You do need to rule out anything else, and only a doctor will be able to tell you for sure what's happening, and if there's anything that can be done to correct it.

I don't know if you haven't gone because you're embarrassed, but I assure you that you won't be near the first guy your doc has seen who's jelqed, nor the first one he's seen who's had side effects from it.

You've waited a year, and time hasn't taken care of it, so it's time to see a doctor. Don't wait on this. If there's inflammation in the penis, it's not likely to get better at this point.

Thanks for your reply, I do plan to see a doctor soon.
Good luck, and let us know what happens.
That was going to be my advice as well - I would recommend seeing a Urologist. They might want do a procedure called Penile Doppler Ultrasound that allows them to see blood flow & scar tissue in the penis, in both flaccid & erect states. It’s painless & only takes a few min. If there IS scar tissue in or around the base, it will likely show up on the scan. And as auntiejessi said, don’t be embarrassed about this - believe me, Dr’s & Uro’s have seen all kinds of injuries & conditions brought on by unusual sexual practices & Jelqing is prbly one of the least embarrassing they’ve dealt with! Good luck & let us know what you find out...

I made I diagram showing where I feel the soreness, I really want to get to the bottom of this. No pain when urinating either. Here’s a link to the diagram https://ibb.co/5TL1Nqt

I’ve also thought it’s a possibility that I have a really tight kegel, but no discomfort when flexing my kegel. Could it be possible it’s a mind thing and the placebo effect is tricking me into feeling this? It been quite traumatized and I do struggle to take it off my mind?

One last thing, there is no spot of my penis that i can push or apply pressure on that enhances the pain.
