Teenage Bedwetting
I've been having a bedwetting problem since I was a young child. I was known for my bedwetting at ages 4 and up. For a couple of years, I had a dry spell. The bedwetting just stopped. Last year, I had one accident. But, in the recent months, and early this morning, I have wet the bed a couple of times. I'm embarrassed by this, and I have no clue why I continue to wet the bed. I'm worried about this, because I'll be going off to college in the fall, and I don't want this to continue on.
Whenever I wet the bed, I'm half asleep. It's like I'm in a dream daze. I'm dreaming that I am actually on the toilet. At first there is some hesitation. But my mind then convinces itself that everything is okay, because I am urinating in the toilet. Quickly after I wet the bed, it's strange, because I snapped out of this "dream daze", and became aware that I just wet the bed. Last night, I urinated before I went to bed, because I had a bottle of water to drink, but maybe I urinated too soon after drinking the bottled water, because not much came out. I'm not sure what to do.
Also, sometimes, I feel as though I really have to urinate badly, but then when I do it, not much comes out. I can't say that I have frequent urination during the day. It's off and on some days.

I'm sorry you're having this issue, and have been having it for so long. It could be NE (see below). It's completely treatable kiddo, no need to worry. Also, the "sometimes, I feel as though I really have to urinate badly" thing is pretty common also (it's called 'urgency').
For 'Urgency', I've had Ditropan (Oxybutynin chloride) prescribed before, and it's worked, but there are a TON of other medications out there.
Go and see a Urologist, or at the very least, your PCP and tell him/her what's going on. Don't be embarrassed about any of this stuff... it's fairly common.
