Tight Foreskin

I'm a 22 years old guy and I have a problem with the foreskin of my penis. The foreskin fully retracts when flaccid but it doesn't go down all the way when erected. When erected, 30% of the glans is exposed. I've just started stretching for one day and I think of continuing this for few weeks. What can be done to avoid surgery ? Is there any ointment I can apply to get good result ? I've heard of  1% Betamethasone ointment, is it good or it has side effects ? Please respond ASAP.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Are there any signs of redness or swelling of the foreskin?

Any associated pain or itchiness in the area?

An underlying infection may cause irritation to the involved areas. This may cause some difficulty in retracting the foreskin. This may be true in the case of balanitis. Balantis may be due to an underlying fungal or bacterial infection. The involved area may present with  redness, white patches ,burning or itchiness. Do you have any of these?

Do not apply anything on the area until you have consulted a physician. he thing with penile conditions is that , the skin is sensitive in the area. Applying unnecessary medications may only cause further irritation. Application of steroids should also need to be further monitored. At this point, based on what you have posted, I do not think surgery is necessary.
