Urethra Tingling

For couple of weeks I had tingling of Urethra and some inflammation, including in the left testicle. Was nervous and did STD checks, all negative (5 weeks result, intercourse was protected and brief oral without condom). No burning while urination.

At the moment (and one week later), the tingling has reduced. Might get an occasional here and there, with some minor pain / inflammation in the left testicle. Also FYI - I have varicocele in the left one.

Questions:
1. Does the situation warrant a visit to a urologist and examine in detail?
2. Can nervousness & stress cause Urethra tingle / inflammation?
3. Can varicocelle in left testicle cause urethra to tingle?

Appreciate some feedback. Many thanks.
