Urological problems?

Lately I've been having pain after urinating. I have lower abdominal pain during and after urinating. The pain afterwards May last about 30 minutes. I have a bad habit of holding my bladder. It started as early as elementary school, with teachers telling me to hold it, I guess trying to make sure kids weren't playing in the bathroom. By the time I got to high school I was able to  "holding it" until I got home from school, that was about 9 or 10 hours from using the restroom that morning. Now, unconsciously I start and stop my urine on and off. Sometimes I use the restroom and I can feel that there is just a little more, but it won't come out. I have to get up and about 10 minutes later I'm able to relax just a bit of urine that I felt was still in there. I also travel once a year and I HATE using public restrooms, but when I travel on the road, especial on a charter bus, it's a bit hard to relax and release my bladder while the bus is moving. So I urinate just enough to not feel like I really have to go and I hold the rest until we make a stop and I can go to a restroom. I've also done that in public restrooms that I felt weren't so clean on the road, I'll use it just enough to feel like I won't pee on myself and hold the rest until we get to the next stop. I'm 23, and I feel like I've created to major bladder issue and I'm wondering if they can be reversed.
