Why does my penis always hide away?

I am 47 yrs old and I am seeing a worsening problem.  I have 4 kids, so I have been able to get erections, although more rarely kept erect like before.  I have never had it hanging out, but would at least have the head out.  I learned to deal with it. However, now I'm struggling to control my aim and drizzle because it completely hides behind to where I practicly look like a vagina! Since I have Parkinson's Disease my hands can get clumsy and I can too easily soil my pants.   What can I do?

Thanks so much for the reply.  I am seeing my PCP tomorrow. I am with the VA.  Amazingly I went through public showers but embarrassed most of the time.  I actually retired military.  I have a malformed lumbar spine in that region, so this doesn't surprise me. I have accepted too many things as normal and just realizing how wrong that has been.  Thankfully I had 4 kids, so that's a miracle in itself.

Another thought that I didn't think to mention is that is that I had a testicle get swollen and painful in my youth. When I became sexually active, one testicle would often get stuck inside and I would have to push it back down following intercourse.  It would be painful and sometimes I would get pain in the testicle and would have to adjust.  I just dealt with it, but my penis has always hidden away for the most part.

Well, that could be a factor in your issue. For whatever reason, it seems like your genitalia may not have developed quite normally while you were still in the womb. I think this problem will require the services of a Urologist or a Dr. who specializes in sexual development issues. It's possible there's still something that can be done to help you. Good luck, sounds like a tough problem. I sure many readers & contributors here are sympathetic to your problem & are hoping you find a solution...

Hi, Anons - Not sure what's causing this, but is it possible you have gained weight, especially around the abdomen, as you've gotten older? Increased belly circumference (& especially abdominal fat) can cause the penis to look much smaller - it may not actually be any smaller but appears to be so in this instance. If this is not a factor (i.e., your weight and/or amount of abdominal fat hasn't changed), you should probably see your reg. Dr. 1st, then a Urologist if that doesn't help...
