epididymal cyst I think?

I'm 17 year old male I have this lump in my scrotum attached to the outside of what I'm guessing the epididymis via a string of flesh that is about 2 or 3 MM long and is wide but not thick. the lump painless and feels firm and has an extremely dull pain when squeezed I went to wrongdiagnosis.com but there reply to nearly everything is "LOL U HAZ DA CANCER GO SEE A DOCTOR U GONNA DIE" or no reply at all its varry small a little smaller then a eraser from a pencil I would go to the doctor but my mother insist on being there with me even if I ask to go alone every single time i go for any reason what so ever. I have had the lump for months and months now and continues to be unchanged

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
From the symptoms it sounds like an epididymal cyst or spermatocele. Hello,
Although the cause of a spermatocele (epididymal cyst) is often unknown, it may be caused by obstruction of the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles (epididymal ducts).
Usually no treatment is required and the cysts are not infected, but if they become infected  then antibiotics are required. For their removal surgical excision is required.
Hope it helps. Take care and regards.
