genitofemoral neuralgia

I had a hernia repair surgery in 2004 and have had problems and pain ever since.  I have been diagnosed or assessed with "genitofemoral neuralgia".  I have scar tissue in the spermatic cord and have such severe pain that I cannot get out of bed some days.  I have been seen by doctors, specialists, pain management clinics, etc....  the only relief I seem to ever get is with a pain medication combination and a analgesic injection in the groin area, but that only lasts for a few days.  I've been told that their is no reversal for this condition and removal of the testical may not rid the pain.  I experience pain in my stomach as far up as my belly button, in my left testical and down my leg.  It has been ongoing for 3 years now and I want to know how rare this is and if anything can be done to correct or ease the pain I experience.  I also feel pain with ejaculation.  This has changed my whole life and I cannot even work anymore.  I am only 45 years old and would like some insight or information on this condition.

You may have a spermatic cord neuralgia (Funiculalgia). The solution is in the Homeopathy. A serious such case was treated very efficiently by the late Dr. Pierre Schmidt of Switzerland. He decribed it in one of his books. The patient saved from the terrible pain. Ask for a good homeopath.

I have the same type of pain after hernia repair. The expert in this field is
Dr Dellon. Go to his web site, dellon.com. Click on "research" .He does not accept insurance
of any kind. His office fee is 500.00. However, he has offices around the
country that may accept insurance if you do not live close to Baltimore,
Md. His procedure involves resecting the GBGFN.
