microscopic hematuria

I forgot to mention that would a dr. ask for a uroscan if she didn't think anything was wrong?  could she be doing it for procautionary measures, or is she hiding something from me.

Still so very nervous15

Hi,

I do understand. But it is better to be thoroughly evaluated now. It is good to know that your physician is managing your case systematically well.

Let us wait patiently and do hope for the best.

Thanks for your reply.  My Dr. stated that she wants to do this test so she can be sure when she tells me I am ok.  Although she stated this to me it offers little comfort as this test is the maker or the breaker of my worst fears and concerns.  Tomorrow 12 Feb 08 I undergo this uroscan, and although very apprehensive I have to bite the bullet and get this done....not happy about this at all.  It is something I am forced to do and I feel I have no other option.

Thanks again, I will keep you updated.

Hi there.

Microscopic hematuria needs a complete assessment. I believe your physician wants to be as thorough as possible.Regarding your concerns, it is best to discuss this with your physician. At this point, she may not be hiding anything given normal results of your tests.

Keep yourself from unnecessary worries at this point. Focus on what is positive and deal with this one step at a time.

Keep us posted regarding your uroscan.I hope you are better now .
